This is my first complete desktop skin and at this time is only for 1024x768. As you can tell I am a FS lover so this skin just seemed liked the perfect thing to do. Even though I found many beautiful skins, they just didn’t do what I wanted, so I made “Desktop Flight”. The air strip is Peter Prince Field Airport in Milton, FL. The icons are fictitious buildings. The cockpit is fictitious also but it sports lots of working gauges, lights and switches instead of icons. The ram meter, cpu meter and net work traffic are represented by the airspeed indicator, rate climb indicator and the artificial horizon gauge. I think I have skinned most everything, but I didn’t have time to concentrate on system icons and did not include these in the zip file to save space. Please be sure to put your own system icons into the system icon directory. On down the road I hope to complete the icons and will make them available for downloak. There are a few new animated icons and cursors, as well as some program icons just for the cockpit.

To start the calendar just click the heading bug on the compass. The Rainlendar calendar program must be in drive letter:\path\Aston\Themes\Desktop Flight\rainlendar-0.19.2 directory for this to work or you must point the bug icon to the correct directory. I have included the Rainlendar program in the correct directory so everything should work. The little green lights at the bottom left can be used for anything, I have the first one for search and the middle one for the run command. The row of icons below the clock open any program you want but you may have to make an icon for it. I have included the blank icons so you can add your own picture. I will be making new icons and maybe adding some more animation. I am working on an automobile dash also so my time is kinda crunched.
